Social Security News and Notes
Good news for Americans who receive disability benefits from Social Security and want to work. A free, voluntary program may be their ticket to employment. Social Security’s Ticket to Work program supports career development for people ages eighteen through sixty-four who receive Social Security disability benefits—S-S-D-I or S-S-I—and want to work. Through this free, voluntary program, eligible participants work with service providers to get the support and services needed to find and keep a job as they move toward financial independence through work. The program regularly shares information for people with disabilities. Visit choose-work--dot--s-s-a--dot--gov--slash--contact to learn how to subscribe to e-mails to stay up to date on the program and discover resources that help you on the path to work.
