Corner Tips To Help You Cooking Is Music To TV Chef’s Ears (NAPS)—A new cooking show combinesflavorful wines and deli- cious recipes to serve up a unique approach to cooking for viewers. A new public television cook- ing show offers viewers a taste of fine cuisine in an unexpected way. The program will include what has been described as the fun, dynamic and innovative approach to cuisine used by chef Charlie Trotter. “Cooking is exactly like playing music,” says the renowned chef, “and once historical precedence andclassical ideas are understood, the possibilities are only as limited as the artist’s imagination.” The culinary conductor is said to approach cooking with the same spontaneity that defines a jazz session, hence the name of the show, The Kitchen Sessions. The program, co-sponsored by Gallo of Sonoma winery and appliance manufacturer Maytag, will showcase modern Americanrecipes and cuisine beginning in February 2001. Recipes will bring together the unique and popular aspects of American wine with some innova- tive and unusualdishes. “T can’t think of a more natural association than our winery and chef Trotter,” says winemaker Gina Gallo. “We both believe in using the highest quality local ingredients and taking the time necessary to deliver a quality product.” For more information visit www.charlietrotters.com/events /kitchensessions.asp.
