Posted

If you’re like most Americans, heart disease and eye disease run in your family. Now, research suggests the two are related. Fortunately, regular eye exams can catch the problem before it becomes too severe. Even more good news: You may be eligible for a medical eye exam, often at no out-of-pocket cost, through the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Eye-Care America program. This public service matches volunteer ophthalmologists with eligible patients. To learn more, including who qualifies, visit E-Y-E-C-A-R-E-AMERICA--dot--org.
