Celebrate Wonder-ful Teachers

(NAPSA)—Do you know a teacher who inspires a sense of wonder in students? Wonder bread has introduced the 7Wonders of the USA Teacher Tour to celebrate exceptional educators in schools across the USA. The Tour gives seven lucky teachers a chance to teach a class remotely from one of the 7Wonders of the USA. Between now and October 24, 2011, you can nominate an inspirational teacher at www.7wondersofthe usa.com. The 7Wonders of the USA are historic destinations, awe-inspiring landmarks and national treasures that span the country and offer rich educational opportunities to the winning teachers. The 7Wonderslocations are the Grand Canyon, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, New Orleans Jazz Park, Mt. Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty, the National Mall in Washington, D.C. and Mt. Kilauea in Hawaii. Wonder will also present 25 tablet computers to each of the schools of the seven winning teachers, and arrange for each teacher to share an interactive lesson with his or her students from the “7Wonders”location via the new tablet computers. And you can also enter to win your own tablet computer when you submit a teacher nomination online. Plus, for each nomination, Wonder will donate $1 to Teach For America, up to $10,000. Teach For America national corps members work in urban and rural communities to ensure that all children have access to an excellent education. A new campaign honors teachers whoinspire a sense of wonderin students. “As the school year gets under way, Wonderis honoring the educators who teach our children to love learning,” said Laura Pitlik, Director of Bread Marketingfor the bakers of Wonder. “We are excited and inspired by thestories that people across the country are sharing with us.” 7Wonders of the USA Teacher Tour is part of Wonder’s 90th anniversary celebration this year, and a part of the Wonder Honors America’s Everyday Heroes campaign, a national search for people making extraordinary contributions to their families, communities or country.
